Eliza Ciesielski is a dedicated and passionate healthcare professional hailing from the Halton Region in Ontario, Canada. A registered nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSCN), she has also earned the prestigious International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification. Her academic journey was initiated at Ryerson University, from where she graduated in 2012, paving the way for an enriching career in the field of nursing.

Eliza embarked on her nursing career as a pediatric nurse at the renowned Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. This experience provided her with an invaluable insight into the critical aspects of pediatric care and allowed her to develop her skills in nurturing and caring for the young. However, it was her subsequent role as a Public Health Nurse that truly shaped her professional trajectory.

In her capacity as a Public Health Nurse, Eliza has provided relentless support to various segments of the population. These include prenatal, postpartum mothers, infants, and children in their early years. Her interactions with mothers and their babies over the years sparked her interest in breastfeeding and infant feeding. She realized the significance of feeding during the initial stages of life, not only for the health of the infant but also for the bonding it facilitates between the mother and child.

Recognizing this, she pursued and successfully obtained her IBCLC certification in 2022. This accomplishment further reinforced her commitment to promoting the importance of breastfeeding and infant feeding. Eliza is steadfast in her mission to create an inclusive, compassionate, and understanding environment that caters to the unique needs of families during their breastfeeding or infant feeding journey.

Beyond her professional life, Eliza is a nature enthusiast with a profound affection for the outdoors. She finds solace in the tranquility of nature and often escapes to the wilderness to rejuvenate. She is also a strong advocate for breathwork, mindfulness and meditation, recognizing their immense benefits for mental and physical well-being. She believes in maintaining a balanced lifestyle and diligently incorporates these practices into her everyday routine.

Eliza Ciesielski is not just a healthcare professional but also a committed advocate for breastfeeding, infant care, and overall well-being of mothers and young children. Her work reflects her love for her profession and her dedication to making a difference in the lives she touches. Her journey is a testament to her commitment to her cause and serves as an inspiration for others in the field.
